The Cameron Balloons Maintenance Course is ideal and beneficial for; existing or training commercial pilots, civil aviation authority personnel, Cameron Balloons representatives and for experienced balloonists who would like to refresh their basic balloon maintenance skills.

The course is run by Cameron Balloons highly experienced staff, overseen by Cameron Balloons' Production Director, Mr Craig Moore.

The 2 day course (8.30am to 4pm each day) costs £425.00 inc.VAT and will start promptly at 08.30am (GMT) on both days.

On completion of the course you will receive a Cameron Balloons certificate which will state you have attended the course.

Important note, being a Cameron Balloons certificate holder does not permit you to be an approved inspector nor an approved repair station.

A non-refundable deposit of £165 per person secures each place with the full balance due at least one week before the course begins.

All places on the Cameron Balloons Maintenance Course are on a 'first-come-first-served' basis. (This means, when your deposit is received you are then booked in)

Extra Course Facts
The course covers basic permitted maintenance, using a practical "hands-on" approach to training, for a range of topics in the Cameron Balloons Maintenance Manual.

Important note, being a Cameron Balloons certificate holder does not permit you to be an approved inspector nor an approved repair station.

Course study materials and practice equipment will be provided by Cameron Balloons Ltd.

Quick and tasty, buffet lunches are also included each day for delegates as part of the course fee. (Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements)
A two-course evening meal, after day one of the course, at a local restaurant is also included as part of the course fee for each delegate.

There will be a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 delegates per course. (Usually groups of 4 to 6 take part in each of the course "hands-on" workshops).

We are delighted to provide information and suggestions about local accommodation but please note, this is not included in the course fee.

UK HMRC Customs requires some country nationals to obtain a visa in order to travel the UK - if you need a formal letter of invitation, please email a copy of your passport and the scanned letter of invitation document, will be emailed to you, covering the dates of the course with one or two travel says either side as required.

And, if during your visit you would like to meet up with our Cameron Balloons Sales team, or perhaps would like a guided-tour around the factory or would like to collect any spares while you are here - please do let us know in advance and then we can ensure we can make time available and can get everything ready for you. 

Lastly, if you have family or other colleagues with that are not on the course, they are welcome to use our cafe area, free WIFI and have some tea or coffee - but as Bristol is such a fun city with great shopping and interesting tourist areas, we can happily suggest ideas of where might be nice to go for the day(s) whilst you are studying on the course... Driving - for directions - please enter BS3 4NH into your SatNav, once arrived, please report to Reception. 

(We also have free car parking on site for course candidates, please ask for our car park key from Reception) 

By Train - Bristol Temple Meads (from London Paddington) is the nearest Train Station - we are about 20minutes walk or 8 minutes by taxi away.

From the Airport - There are direct bus and coaches to Bristol from Bristol Aiport (which is actually about 40minutes outside of Bristol) and Heathrow Airport (under 2hours away) From Bristol central Coach Station it is a short taxi-ride or a half hour stroll to the factory.
