Cameron Balloons is the world's largest manufacturer of hot-air balloons. For more than 35 years the name Cameron on a balloon has stood for the ultimate in aeronautical quality. And it was Cameron that achieved the first - and only - manned balloon flights around the world. Our product range includes hot-air balloons for people entering the sport, balloons for advertising, pleasure and competitive flying, passenger carrying balloons and, of course, the exciting special shapes that defy belief but which generate enormous corporate publicity.
We also manufacture hot-air airships, helium airships, Roziere (heated helium) balloons, helium balloons, helium advertising blimps and spheres plus cold-air inflatables for various uses, fabric structures and medical products.
Whatever you need to know about the world of lighter than air flight, lighter- than-air advertising, or structural engineering in fabric, please call our office, one of our dealers, or see our website: www.cameronballoons.co.uk
Each complete hot-air balloon includes - free of charge - an envelope bag, log book, spare fabric and a comprehensive Flight & Maintenance manual. Envelope prices include your choice of colours, within the normal panel structure, from our range of fabrics. Hyperlast long-life fabric, special colours, metallic fabrics and artwork costs will be quoted on request.
Full colour balloon visuals can be prepared to illustrate your requirements. All envelopes are supplied with 145 cm deep fire-resistant Nomex base (45 cm on Concept), detachable crown line, envelope bag with waterproof base and choice of white (standard) or black load tapes. Internal load tapes are an option on some envelopes. Figures shown in brackets refer to envelope sizes in thousands of cubic feet followed by the equivalent in cubic metres.
We occasionally receive enquiries from customers who need a balloon urgently, perhaps to meet a deadline for a new promotional campaign or to replace one that has been damaged beyond repair. To meet this demand we have introduced Quickbuild, a premium service which allows a customer to specify the period of time in which a balloon needs to be built. There is a surcharge for this service to cover our additional costs.
Quickbuild numbers are limited and it is available only with ordinary balloons - not special shapes, airships or when non-standard fabric colours are required. If you think you may need Quickbuild you should advise us at the earliest possible moment. Construction time is defined as the period between the date of acceptance of a Quickbuild order (which is when we have received the deposit, complete build specification, colour scheme / artwork definition and signed sales agreement) and the balloon being ready for dispatch from our factory. Any surcharge - but not the contract to build the balloon - will be cancelled completely if the balloon is not ready for dispatch from our factory by the end of the agreed construction time. Delays due to transport and certification requirements will not be cause for cancellation of the surcharge.
A number of balloon envelopes of different sizes and with a variety of colour schemes are usually kept in stock. These are available for rapid delivery, often at a discount on the price for a custom built envelope. Please ask for coloured illustrations or check our website.
