Envelopes
Here you will find information about all the available types and sizes of standard balloon envelopes we manufacture. We are also the world leader in special shape envelopes, so if you have a product or idea you think could be produced as a special shape please discuss it with us without commitment. Note: numbers shown in brackets are envelope volumes in thousands of cubic feet followed by the equivalent in cubic metres.
Subcategories
Five sizes of 12 gore envelopes that offer a low-cost introduction to ballooning. Can be used with a Shadow "single-that-thinks-it's-a-double" burner or a standard double burner plus other equipment from the Cameron range.
This range offers the widest choice of horizontally cut envelopes in the world and their natural shape is well suited for artwork display. They feature 16 gores on sizes up to and including 42, 24 gores on sizes from 56 to 350, 28 gores on sizes 375 to 450 and 32 gores on all larger sizes. Parachute top is standard to size 140; Lock-Top on 160 to 315. The RDS fast deflation system can be fitted to all sizes but must be fitted on envelope sizes 350 and above - see "Envelope Options".
The perfect balloon for passenger carrying operations. A parachute top is standard on the 105, 120 and 140, Lock-Top on sizes 160 to 315; velcro on larger sizes. The RDS fast deflation system is available as an alternative on all envelope sizes - please see "Envelope Options".
The almost flat surface of these natural shape, vertically cut, multi-gore balloons is especially suited for artwork display. Parachute top is standard to size 145; Lock-Top on 160. The RDS fast deflation system is available on larger envelope sizes - see "Envelope Options".

Constructed from 24 gores that provide a slim super-smooth shape, the Cameron Racer slips quickly up and down through the sky providing the pilot with incredible atmospheric steerage capabilities. Available in two sizes, the Racer is equipped with a parachute top as standard or Cameron's exclusive RDS rapid deflation system is also available. Options include Kevlar flying wires and load tapes. Ask about lighter-weight woven baskets or the Voyager 3 with demountable fabric sides.
The leading third generation one-man balloon. There is no basket - the pilot is strapped into a seat attached to a simple frame that carries the fuel cylinder.
