A choice of instrument packs is available. The Flytec 6040 is state-of-the-art with a liquid crystal display incorporating a GPS, sensitive variometer (choose m/sec or ft/min) with analogue and digital readouts, QNH/QFE set altimeter (m or ft), ambient thermometer. A wireless (coded radio signal) envelope thermistor (deg F or C) is optional with the 6040 and 3040. The Favorit is excellent value for money having all the above except envelope temperature. Both have audible alarms. GPS (global positioning system) instruments are available. Flytec 6040 with large high resolution graphic display in sleek and compact housing. Use with optional Flytec TT34 for accurate and reliable wireless envelope temperature. A built-in GPS provides a vast array of previously unavailable flight information. In flight, the GPS constantly calculates the wind at various elevations you fly through and generates a wind layer map showing the speed and direction on an automatically adjusting altitude scale.
