Perfect for those balloon passengers that are less able, wheelchair bound or you would ljust ove to enjoy 'easy' ballooning. These beautifully constructed baskets are 100% cane weave and have a flat top. They can be utilised with many other types of balloon envelopes and burners.
Our Easy-Access Baskets are made from a traditional wickerwork construction, using only 100% Cane for strength. Floors within the Easy-Access range are 12mm solid birch plywood, with Kiln dried Ash runners bolted and bonded to the floor. The structural load is taken by 6mm stainless steel wires forming a continuous sling from the burner frame underneath the basket floor.
These Cameron Balloon's baskets are strengthened by a top and bottom, 32mm dia. stainless-steel frame. Longevity and strength are very important to consider when looking for the perfect hot-air balloon basket.
We pride ourselves with the fact that many of our baskets are still airworthy today, after so many decades flying professionally or for pleasure.
The top of the basket is padded and trimmed with the highest quality leather or suede. The bottom edge is traditionally covered with rawhide which protects the basket from damage during landing and transportation. For those in very harsh environments, we offer a leather base at a supplementry price.
The easy-access door is very handy for making your ballooning experience even more enjoyable. No more lifting heavy cylinders in and out of baskets.

Basket sizes given are from centre-to-centre of the bottom frame. Please note that an additional allowance must be made for external wall thickness and handles when determining the size of any trailer or vehicle that will carry the basket.
