For the football championships in Switzerland, the brief was to have a giant football sitting on top of the famous Geneva fountain. A large gas balloon was constructed by Cameron Fabric Engineering and tethered by three lines to barges. For weeks, the football could be seen on top of the fountain. Viewers could see it world-wide by means of webcams.
